By using our platform Connect, you agree that the responsibility of mentor selection lies entirely with the student, and Connect team bears no liability in case of dissatisfaction or issues arising from such selection. Students are advised to carefully review a mentor’s profile before choosing, and if a mentor does not respond properly to questions asked or fails to meet expectations, Connect team will not be held responsible. Mentors are strictly accountable for the information they provide in their profiles; for example, if a mentor claims to be fluent in English but cannot communicate in English during the meeting, the accountability rests solely with the mentor. By agreeing to be a mentor, you confirm that all the information provided in your profile is true and valid, and if any false or misleading information is given, you may be subject to legal actions. Once chosen by a student, the mentor must attend the meeting as per the scheduled request, and failure to honor engagements may result in penalties, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. Students acknowledge that advice received from mentors is based on personal experience and opinions, and Connect does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy or quality of such advice. Additionally, our platform provides a College Predictor tool based on the latest known rank cutoffs; however, this information may not always be fully accurate or updated. Using this tool is entirely at your own risk, and Connect team is not liable for any consequences, decisions, or outcomes resulting from reliance on such data. The platform is not designed for users below 13 years of age, and by registering, you represent that you meet this requirement; if false information about age is found, accounts may be deleted without notice. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, and any activity under your account will be considered your responsibility. Unauthorized use, impersonation, harassment, fraudulent activity, copying of content, or scraping is strictly prohibited and may lead to termination or legal action. All materials on this website, including design, layout, look, appearance, and graphics, are owned or licensed by us and may not be reproduced except with permission; all third-party trademarks appearing on the website are acknowledged.
